Everyone in this world wants to have a room of their choice and that room they can make their own.For me its my home office where I can work with concentration but despite of doing many efforts I was unable to keep my family quite while I worked.So I decided to soundproof my room but did not have a lot of money and time to do so. My next step was to soundproof the walls of my room. I placed bookshelves, dressers, paintings on the walls as it increases the space between the sharing walls.If you have some budget then you can also install the acoustic wall panels as this is the best solution.
Finally, I replaced my old carpet with the new extra thick carpet pad. Doing this ensures that I won't be disturbing anyone living in the rooms below me & vice versa.
